Fotor
Fotor is an online and mobile photo editor that combines classic adjustments with AI tools such as enhancement, background and object removal and image generation.
About this tool
Fotor is a long-running photo editing service available on the web, desktop and mobile. It covers the basics, such as cropping, brightness, contrast and portrait retouching, with an interface aimed at people who find professional editors too complex. A batch editor applies changes to many photos at once.
Over time Fotor has added a broad AI toolkit: a one-click enhancer for blurry or poorly lit photos, background removal and replacement, object removal for photobombers or text, and generative tools that create images from prompts. Its subscription now bundles access to several AI models under monthly credits, while realistic AI headshots are sold as a one-time purchase.
What you can do
AI photo enhancer
Improves lighting, sharpens blurry shots and recovers detail in a single click.
Background and object removal
Separates subjects from backgrounds and erases unwanted objects or text from photos.
Batch editing
Applies the same adjustments to a set of photos at once instead of editing them one by one.
AI image generation
Creates new images and headshots from prompts or uploaded photos using bundled models.
Who is it for?
- A small seller cleans up product photos and removes distracting backgrounds.
- A professional creates an AI headshot for a LinkedIn profile.
- A traveller batch-corrects a holiday album on a phone.
Before you choose
Generative features consume monthly credits that differ by plan, so heavy AI use may require a higher tier.
AI headshots are a separate one-time purchase rather than part of every subscription; check what is included before buying.
